| This form is used to apply for a Matching Grant. Funding minimum project is $25,000, up to $200,000 is available this Rotary year. To submit this application it must be sent as an attached document in an email. These are large, international projects, so please contact the District Grants chair for assistance in completing this application. | |
| RYLA - Rotary Youth Leadership Award for 2010 - Information for Club Presidents and RYLA Chairs | |
Download the RYLA 7710 Handbook, where you will find all of the RYLA conference information: 1) Selection Guidelines, 2) Information to share with candidates, 3) a Submission Cover Sheet and 4) a two-page Application with Release form (please make as many copies as you may need of the application form.) Applications are processed through the RYLA Committee & Board of Directors of each sponsoring club. Clubs are encouraged to sponsor as many delegates as desired. Relatives of Rotarians are eligible and encouraged to apply. The registration deadline is December 31st. Confirmation letters are mailed to delegates and clubs notified by January 31st. For additional information, contact RYLA Chair Dave . This year’s cost per delegate is: $295 per delegate. |

| RLI - Rotary LEADERSHIP Institutes - APPLICATION & OVERVIEW INFORMATION | |
There registration forms and "overview & information" documents are now on the RLI web site, ( for all the Rotary Leadership Institutes (RLI) being held in various locations (Virginia and North Carolina). The RLI workshops are for Rotarians to learn more about Rotary and to hone their leadership skills prior to becoming club president or assuming other leadership positions in the district. It is presented in 3 parts (in one-day seminars). The cost is only $85 per Part. And traditionally, the clubs select (and pay) for their members to attend the Rotary Leadership Institute.

This award is designed to motivate clubs to actively participate in service. Revised on an annual basis by the RI president, the award traditionally highlights the president’s emphases. Clubs submits completed certification forms to district governor for their endorsement. Downloads are available from the Rotary International web site for the brochure and the nomination form for the clubs. |

| Scholar Training 2011 | |
| This two-page registration form is for Scholar Training in Burlington during January 2-3, 2009. Fourteen districts participate in this event. This form is mailed to all outbound Rotary Foundation Scholars as soon as their selection is confirmed. Participation in this event is mandatory for all Scholars preparing to travel during the 2010-2011 year. The registration deadline is December 5, 2008. Confirmation letters are mailed to all registrants within one week of our receiving the registration form and fees. | |
| Fall Assembly 2010 | |
| The Lead The Way Fall Assembly will be in OCTOBER at the Greenwood Forest Baptist Church. Registration (and food) will be between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. and the Assembly will begin promptly at 9AM. The cost is $0 (free) and the registration deadline is October 18. District Leadership and Clubs share information on topics of interest in the District (e.g.Foundation, membership, fund raising ideas, million meal program, etc.). | This two-page registration form is for Carolinas PETS 2011 in Greensboro during March 17 - 19, 2011. Seven districts participate in this event. This form is mailed to all Rotary Club Presidents-Elect in mid-November. Participation in this event is mandatory for all Rotarians serving their clubs as President for the year 2011-2012. The registration deadline is January 20, 2010. Confirmation letters are mailed to all registrants within one week of our receiving the registration form and fees. | All activities of District 7710 are governed by the Rotary International Constitution, Bylaws, and RI Manual of Procedure. The District 7710 Manual of Procedures is designed to complement those documents and to provide further guidance to district Rotarians. This twenty-one page document contains requirements for all elected positions as well as the duties and goals for each of our district committees and a brief history of our district. | The Strategic Plan represents the Strategic Planning Group’s collective wisdom and experience and is offered as a working document to be available to the present and future District Governors as they lead the District. Beginning with the 2006-2007 Rotary year, all clubs and districts are required to be certified by RI as having a "Sexual Abuse and Harassment Prevention Policy". Implementing an effective policy is a tangible demonstration of a district’s commitment to create a climate for Rotarians and non-Rotarians that is free from abuse and harassment. This document provides a basic framework, in keeping with RI Board policy, to follow in developing or refining district abuse and harassment policies. This document is a component of a larger document, the districts Directory and Manual of Procedure, which is being updated to incorporate its content; but is being highlighted here as a "new component" of the MOP until it is updated. |
